This Spring Thyroid Smoothie is a powerhouse of nutrients designed to support your thyroid, boost energy, and aid natural detoxification. When I was on my journey of losing 20 pounds and regaining my vitality, I found that incorporating thyroid-friendly whole foods made a dramatic difference.
Why These Ingredients?
✔️ Spinach – Rich in magnesium, which helps thyroid hormone production and reduces inflammation.
✔️ Brazil Nuts – A natural source of selenium, essential for converting T4 (inactive hormone) into T3 (active hormone) and reducing thyroid inflammation.
✔️ Lemon – Supports liver detoxification, which is crucial for hormone balance and metabolism regulation.
✔️ Coconut Water – Hydrating and full of electrolytes, preventing fatigue and supporting adrenal health.

Recipe: Spring Thyroid Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh spinach
2 Brazil nuts
Juice of ½ lemon
½ avocado
½ frozen banana (for creaminess & natural sweetness). Since bananas have a hard outer skin, they do not need to be organic.
½ cup fresh or frozen organic blueberries (thyroid-supporting fruit!)
1 cup coconut water
½ inch fresh ginger (grated)
4 ice cubes
Instructions:
Add all the ingredients to the blender or magic bullet.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a glass, take a deep breath, and enjoy mindfully.

Hold the breath for 4 seconds, imagining warmth in your throat area.
Exhale slowly for 6 seconds, releasing any tension.
Repeat for 5 cycles, focusing on gratitude for your body’s ability to heal.
