Are Man-Made Vitamins Dangerous to Us?

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I sure did, I spent Saturday at my cousins block party in SI. Nothing better than spending time with those I love dearly.

I am so happy to have this platform to share my voice on how food is your best medicine.

Many of you are taking zinc since covid but did you know that if you take too much zinc, you can block absorption of copper and selenium.

Selenium is a very important mineral for:

-Thyroid hormone metabolism -DNA synthesis -Reproduction -Protection from infection

And Copper deficiency can lead to problems with connective tissue, muscle weakness, anemia, low white blood cell count, neurological problems, and paleness.

Too much of any one man-made supplement will cause issues down the line.
